Ratification Voting

IBEW Local 2325 will begin ratification voting on the 2022 tentative agreement negotiated with Verizon. Voting will take place starting Monday July 11th through Thursday July 14th at the Union Hall from 7:30 am till 6pm each day. The hall location is 367 Burncoat St. Worcester 01606. Summary documents will be provided and any questions will be answered.

The New Jersey project, dubbed the New Jersey High Speed Rail Improvement Program, planned to upgrade and improve 24 miles of track, wires, signals, and other infrastructure between Trenton and New Brunswick, accommodating speeds up to 160 mph, up from 135. It was supposed to take six years. It did not.

The System Council T6, IBEW 827, 2213 and CWA districts 1,2 and 13 have reached a tentative agreement with Verizon on a 3 year extension to our contract. This extension will take us to 2026. This agreement is subject to ratification and that process will begin next week. We are working on finalizing a summary document and we will get that out when it becomes available.
